When it comes to comfort food that also heals, nothing beats bone broth.

🍲 Glow Tribe Bone Broth Recipe

Here’s my go-to winter bug beater — quick, nourishing, and glow-boosting.


🛒 Ingredients (serves 2)

  • 3 frozen Marks & Spencer beef bone broth discs

  • 750 ml hot water

  • A handful of dried seaweed strips (supermarket)

  • 1 heaped tbsp organic miso paste (Yutaka is my favourite)

  • A few shiitake mushrooms, sliced

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp ghee (or butter)

  • Optional add-ins: tofu cubes, bamboo shoots, chilli for a kick


🍳 Method

  1. Simmer the bone broth discs in 750 ml hot water for 5 minutes.

  2. While that’s simmering, fry the shiitake mushrooms in garlic and ghee until golden.

  3. Add the seaweed strips and miso paste to the broth, stir until dissolved.

  4. Add the fried mushrooms (plus tofu, bamboo shoots or chilli if using).

  5. Let everything simmer gently for 2–3 minutes, then serve steaming hot.

  • Add fresh ginger slices for an immunity boost.

  • Top with spring onions or sesame seeds for crunch + minerals.

  • Swap beef broth for chicken or veggie broth if you fancy.
