Polynucleotide Treatment in Glasgow West End
HWFGlow offers polynucleotide skin treatments at our clinic in Glasgow's West End. Using PDRN (polynucleotides) and exosomes applied during microneedling, these regenerative treatments work with your skin's own repair processes to support collagen, improve texture and address concerns like fine lines, dullness and uneven tone. No injectables everything is delivered topically through the skin during your session.
If you've heard about polynucleotide treatments and want to know whether they're right for your skin, this page explains exactly what we offer and how to book.
What are polynucleotides?
Polynucleotides (also called PDRN) are naturally derived molecules that act as building blocks for skin repair. They support the skin's own regenerative processes — helping with hydration, collagen support and overall skin quality over time.
At HWFGlow, we use polynucleotides and exosomes as skin boosters delivered topically during microneedling sessions. The microneedling creates fine channels in the skin surface that allow these active ingredients to reach deeper layers, where they can work most effectively.
This approach suits clients looking for a non-injectable option to support skin renewal, particularly those concerned with:
-
Fine lines and early signs of skin ageing
-
Loss of skin firmness or radiance
-
Dull, uneven or dehydrated skin
-
Skin that feels like it needs a reset after stress, hormonal changes or medical treatment
What to expect at your appointment
Your session is carried out by Madeleinea Ross, an Integrative Skin Health Specialist with 14 years of experience in advanced skin treatments. We start with a short consultation to understand your skin concerns and confirm the treatment is right for you.
Microneedling is then carried out on the treatment area, followed by application of the polynucleotide or exosome skin booster. The whole session takes around one hour. Most clients notice an improvement in skin hydration and glow in the days that follow, with results building over subsequent sessions. A course of three sessions is typically recommended for best results.
Please note: As with all microneedling treatments, a consent form are required before your first appointment.

Questions clients ask:
What is the difference between injectable polynucleotides and what you offer? Injectable polynucleotides are administered by a medically qualified professional using a needle. At HWFGlow, we use polynucleotides topically — applied during microneedling so the ingredients reach deeper skin layers through the fine channels the treatment creates. No injections are involved.
How many sessions will I need? Most clients see the clearest results after a course of three sessions, spaced four to six weeks apart. We'll discuss a plan for your skin at the consultation.Does the treatment hurt? Microneedling can feel like a light prickling sensation. Most clients find it very manageable.
Can I combine this with other treatments? Depending on your skin, we may recommend combining your skin booster session with other treatments. We'll advise based on your individual skin assessment.
